Wild Horse Turquoise is not turquoise but actually magnesite/hematite! This particular ring has a tremendous mottling of browns, ivory and a bit of grey. The mine this is from is no longer open, so what out is all there will be. The mine was discovered in the mid 90s in the remote Gila, AZ wilderness near the Globe copper mine.
Navajo. Stamped Dani. Size 8. Can be sized. A arc of sterling “rays” are on either side of this ring ending in a stamp of sunrise/sunset at the end of the arcs before the smooth band. The bezel is line scored with a clear look. Stone measures 2” long x 1” wide.
